Fond of The West Wing

Yesterday in AP Government, my teacher decided to give us the rainy day treatment and let us watch West Wing instead of listen to his lecture. Let me tell you his gesture did NOT go unappreciated. The West Wing is a show that I consider to be highly underestimated. It is not only entertaining and addicting, but has an incredible amount of substance and low level of trashiness. It gives its audience a fictional, but riveting look into the business of the White House staff and the every day hustle and bustle. Did I mention that the show is hilarious? Really, it's just as funny if not funnier than a popular favorite like The Office. Not that the two can be compared. Every time we get to watch The West Wing in Government my gut begins to bubble with excitement as I realize I get to watch yet another captivating episode of this one of a kind show. Maybe I'm partial to this show because it's the kind of work I hope to some day be involved in, but I simply can't resist it. Do yourself a favor and watch some West Wing reruns.
